Admirals Agree to Terms with Goaltender Sergey Liulchuk

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Serhii (Sergey) Liulchuk. Liulchuk (pronounced LULL-chuck) was added to the roster last week as an emergency backup goaltender, but has now entered into a standard players contract with Norfolk.
Liulchuk, 24, attended Norfolk's training camp this past October. The 6-2, 185-pound goaltender played last season in the Ukraine with Bilyy Bars Bila Tserkva where he posted a 2.74 goals-against-average and 0.897 save percentage in 20 appearances. The Kiev, Ukraine native is a two-time Ukraine champion, winning titles in 2015 and 2017.
The Admirals continue their road trip on Thursday when they battle the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
