Toledo, OH - Forward Brett D'Andrea (DEE-an-dree-ah) has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2018-19 season.
D'Andrea joins the Walleye after starting his pro career in Pensacola where he picked up four points (2G, 2A) over seven contests for the Ice Flyers.
The Marysville, MI native spent the last four years
down the road from the Walleye where he appeared in 131 games for the Bowling Green Falcons, scoring 23 times with 28 assists. D'Andrea posted a plus 19 with 37 penalty minutes in his time for the Falcons.
The 24-year- old forward skated in a career best 41 games last season for Bowling Green while picking up a career high nine goals. D'Andrea's top point season came as a junior in the 2016-17 year with 20 that featured the most assists he had for the Falcons in a single season (13). Prior to joining the Falcons, the 5'11", 195 pound forward spent a season with the Carleton Place Canadians in the CCHL with 66 points (19G, 47A) over 62 games.
Toledo hosts its first morning game of the season on Thursday, November 15 against Kalamazoo Wings. Saturday night, November 17, the Fort Wayne Komets are in T-Town.
