TONIGHT: The Orlando Solar Bears (7-3-1-0) take on the Maine Mariners (5-5-0-1) in the first of four games against North Division opponents this week. The Mariners are the affiliate of the New York Rangers, and are back at .500 on the strength of a three-game win streak after starting the season at 2-5-0-1.

SHAW HEATING UP: Forward Brady Shaw is beginning to find his stride - the second-year forward has eight points (4g-4a) in his last three games and has recorded a +5 over that span.

PLAYING WITH THE LEAD: The Solar Bears will want to establish a lead early and hold on through the game's first two periods tonight. Orlando owns a 6-0-0-0 record when leading after two periods. However, the Mariners have shown to be a team that does not fade in games this season. Maine has orchestrated three total comeback wins when trailing after the first or second periods this season.

BRODZINSKI CONTINUES STOUT DEFENSIVE PLAY: Defenseman Michael Brodzinski continue to be a reliable presence on the blue line for Orlando, tying for the league lead in plus-minus at +14. Since Oct. 19, Brodzinski has had an even or positive plus-minus rating in every game, and has had four games where he was +3.

BEREHOWSKY ONE AWAY FROM 100: With 99 career wins behind the bench of the Solar Bears, Drake Berehowsky is already the winningest head coach in the team's ECHL tenure. His next victory will allow him to join IHL Solar Bears bench boss Curt Fraser as the second head coach of a professional hockey team in Orlando to reach the century mark in coaching wins.
