Eaton's Ephesus Sports Lighting Continues as "Official Lighting Partner of the ECHL"
November 14, 2018 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that Eaton's Ephesus Sports Lighting will continue as the "Official Lighting Partner of the ECHL" for the 2018-19 season. The agreement highlights Ephesus across the ECHL's digital channels as well as at the League's signature events hosted throughout the season, including the 2019 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic in Toledo on Jan. 21, 2019.
Four ECHL arenas employ the Ephesus LED sports lighting solution including the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne; the BOK Center in Tulsa; the DCU Center in Worcester; and the Scope Arena in Norfolk. A fifth arena, the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Kansas City, will install the new Ephesus Lumadapt sports lighting system later this season.
"The Ephesus LED sports lighting makes a noticeable difference in our buildings and improves the look and feel for those in attendance," said ECHL Commissioner Ryan Crelin. "With four ECHL venues already having their technology in place, and a fifth being installed this year at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Kansas City, it is great to see more ECHL fans than ever be able to experience the difference."
"Ever since we illuminated the first sporting event with LED lighting, a hockey game of course, hockey arenas at all levels have been among the most avid adopters of our Ephesus sports lighting solutions," said Mike Quijano, Director of Business Development and Product Marketing for Eaton's Ephesus Lighting. "We are proud that four ECHL venues already employ our LED lighting solution and look forward to working with more of them in the future to help their players and fans experience the power of LED."
