Adirondack Frostbite News Release
LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 3-2-0 last week, and is now 45-21-5 on the season for 95 points. Adirondack is in second place of the Eastern Division, and needs to win its final four games, and have Danbury lose its two remaining games in regulation, in order to win the division title.
Tuesday, April 4 @ Richmond RiverDogs 5 FROSTBITE 2
Richmond scored the game's final four goals to defeat Adirondack for the first time this season. The Frostbite had a 2-1 lead midway through the first period on goals from Mike Berry and Sylvain Cloutier, but the RiverDogs tied the game late in the first, took the lead with a pair of goals in the second, and set the final six and a half minutes into the final period.
Wednesday, April 5 @ Roanoke FROSTBITE 6 Vipers 3
Adirondack scored four goals in the third period, rallying for a win when trailing after two periods for the first time since November 13. Sylvain Cloutier tied a team record with four goals in the game, including three in the decisive final period. Greg Koehler (g, 3a) added four points of his own, and Mike Boudreau turned aside 22 shots to record the win in his professional debut.
Friday, April 7 @ Richmond FROSTBITE 3 RiverDogs 1
The Frostbite again rallied in the third period, scoring three times to pick up a 3-1, and finish the regular-season series against Richmond with a 13-1-0 record. Greg Koehler tied the score 9:10 into the third period, and Mark Hurtubise put the Frostbite ahead for good at 13:54. Hurtubise set the final, scoring a shorthanded goal into an empty net with one second left.
Saturday, April 8 vs. Elmira FROSTBITE 6 Jackals 5
The Frostbite tied a season high with their sixth-straight home win, rallying to down Elmira 6-5. Sam Paolini scored late in the first, and Jarrett Konkle scored twice early in the second giving the Jackals a 4-2 lead. But, a pair of goals from Sylvain Cloutier tied the score at four heading into the third period. Elmira went back ahead with a Kevin Cooper goal 8:50 into the final period, but Mark Hurtubise netted the equalizer just 28 seconds later. Mike Berry's power-play goal with 2:40 left in the third period gave the Frostbite the win.
Sunday, April 9 @ Danbury Trashers 8 FROSTBITE 2
Adirondack concluded its busiest week of the season with an 8-2 loss in Danbury. The Trashers scored three times in each of the first two periods, and added two more scores late in the third. Greg Koehler and Mark Hurtubise scored for the Frostbite in the loss.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, April 11 @ Muskegon 7:40 p.m.
The Frostbite and Fury meet for the second and final time this season. Muskegon won the first meeting of the season, 3-1, at the Glens Falls Civic Center on January 8. The Fury boast the league's two top scorers, Robin Bouchard and Jeff Nelson. The Fury are tied with Kalamazoo for first place in the Central Division, and for the top seed in the Colonial Cup Playoffs.
Wednesday, April 12 @ Kalamazoo 7:00 p.m.
Adirondack and Kalamazoo meet for the third and final time this season. The K-Wings are 2-0-0 against the Frostbite, and have out-scored Adirondack 8-2 in the first two games. Kalamazoo and Muskegon both are 50-16-7 for 107 points in the race for the Central Division championship and the top overall seed in the upcoming Colonial Cup Playoffs.
Friday, April 14 @ Elmira 7:05 p.m.
The Frostbite play their final road game of the regular season at First Arena against Elmira. Adirondack is 9-3-1 against Elmira this season, with eight of the 13 games in the season series being decided by just one goal.
Saturday, April 15 vs. Elmira 7:35 p.m.
The Frostbite wrap-up the regular season schedule on Saturday against Elmira. Adirondack is 5-1-1 at home against Elmira this season.
PROMOTIONS: Following the game, join the Frostbite players on the ice for the final post-game skating session of the season.

- Greg Koehler enters the week on a nine-game scoring streak (7g, 9a).
- Sylvain Cloutier has set personal highs in goals, assists and points. He also broke his own team record for most power-play goals in a season with 18.
- Adirondack needs three wins in its final four games to tie the team record for most wins in a season set last year.
- The Frostbite are 16-3-5 in one-goal games this season.

All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com.
