Adirondack Acquires Andrew Tessier from Cincinnati

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that it has acquired defenseman Andrew Tessier from the Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for future considerations.

Tessier, 24, signed with the Cyclones after playing four seasons of college hockey in Canada - two years each at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON and Laurentian University in Sudbury, ON. Throughout his USports collegiate career, Tessier totaled 13 points (3g-10a) and 42 PIM in 67 games of action.

The Thunder are back home for three games this week - tomorrow vs. Worcester, Friday vs. Maine and Saturday vs. Worcester again for Military Appreciation Night.
