Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release
Kannapolis, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators are geared up for a weekend of fun and excitement as they host a four-game series against the Hagerstown Suns. The home stand will feature the following events:
Saturday, May 24, will start off the home stand against the Suns with our first ever Fieldcrest Cannon Reunion Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a replica model of Plant 1, and the Historical Society will set up photos and facts about Plant 1 and its employees around the stadium. Also, the Intimidators welcome Cooperative Christian Ministries who will be having their annual food drive along with Kannapolis Education Foundation Night. The game begins at 7:05pm.
Sunday, May 25, will be another fun night at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium with Family Fun Day taking place. The day will begin with Pre-game autographs and it will end with kids running the bases. Game time is at 5:05pm.
Monday, May 26, will continue the festivities with our Memorial Day Matinee game. This game will start at 2:05pm and will highlight Military Appreciation Day. All military personnel with their identification cards will receive half priced tickets. Those who arrive in uniform will receive free admission into Monday's game.
Tuesday, May 27, will end the four-game home-stand against the Suns and will be our second education day of the season. This gives our local schools a chance to come out and enjoy a day at the ballpark with the rest of their classmates. Game time is at 10:05am
