Every North Shore position player recorded a hit as the Spirit trampled the Aces by a 16-5 final. Brian Macchi was 4-for-5 with a double and a stolen base to help Jeremy Sugarman notch his league-leading tenth win of the year.
Yuri Sanchez homered for the Spirit, as did Nilson Teilon, who also registered three hits and drove in three runs. Sugarman gave up three earned runs on eight hits over six and two-thirds innings. The Aces drop to 2-6 with the loss.
