SALT LAKE CITY, Utah-A.J. Pollock drove in two runs for Reno Tuesday night, but the Aces managed just five hits, falling 6-3 to the Salt Lake Bees in the series finale at Spring Mobile Ballpark.

With the defeat, Reno has lost its first series since May 12-15.

The Aces trailed by a run early, but rallied to tie the score in the fourth and take the lead in the fifth. In the home half of the fifth, though, Salt Lake scored four times to take a lead it wouldn't relinquish.

Scheduled starter Patrick Corbin was scratched just prior to game time, so the Aces used four relief pitchers on the night, beginning with Mike DeMark, who made his first-career professional start. DeMark took a no decision, holding the Bees to two runs on four hits over 3.1 innings. The loss fell to Taylor Sinclair (0-2), who surrendered four runs-three earned-in his lone inning of work.

Bees starter Eric Hurley (7-6) earned the victory, scattering two earned runs over five frames. Ryan Brasier worked a scoreless ninth to convert his ninth save.

At the plate for Reno, Pollock's two RBIs came without the benefit of a hit. Jake Elmore singled and scored twice, while Adam Eaton was hit by a pitch in the ninth to extend his on-base streak to 40 games.

The Aces now head back to Reno to kick-off a seven game homestand, beginning with a three-game set against the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. In Wednesday's opener, RHP Charles Brewer (3-5, 5.37 ERA) gets the nod for Reno, while RHP Yusmeiro Petit (3-2, 2.92 ERA) counters for the Grizzlies. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. PT, and it'll be another Aces WINSday, with free hot dogs on the line.

The Aces will return home on Wednesday, June 27 to kick-off a seven-game homestand against the Fresno Grizzlies and Las Vegas 51s. Tickets are on-sale now at RenoAces.com, by calling (775) 334-7000 or by visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office.
