
Two Fireworks Spectacular Shows and Myron Noodleman Highlight Homestand Events

The Tucson Padres return home for a huge seven-day Holiday Homestand from Wednesday, June 27 through Tuesday, July 3, hosting the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Colorado Rockies affiliate) and the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels affiliate). With two fireworks shows, an appearance by Myron Noodleman, a Budweiser Thirsty Thursday and much more, this could be the most eventful homestand to date in 2012. Here is a game-by-game listing of the upcoming events:
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27 - WIENER WEDNESDAY presented by Wienerschnitzel & KVOI - One dollar hot dogs all night long! It's also Tucson Padres Social Media Night. Go to the Tucson Padres Facebook page to get more details.
THURSDAY, JUNE 28 - BUDWEISER THIRSTY THURSDAY presented by KMSB Fox 11, K-HIT, La Poderosa, and the Tucson Weekly - the regular 16oz Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coca-Cola products will go on sale for only $1.50 when the gates open at 6:00 pm. $2.50 crafts - Odell and Barrio Breweries. All college students and military will be admitted for $4.00 with a school/military ID. The beer special ends at 9:00. Designated drivers will get a wristband for complimentary soft drinks.
FRIDAY, JUNE 29 - MYRON NOODLEMAN - Come see the Hippest Nerd in the Biz: Myron Noodleman! He is the Clown Prince of Baseball and he has been delighting fans for years! This Jerry Lewis-type performer is guaranteed to make you laugh throughout the evening!
SATURDAY, JUNE 30 - FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR presented by KOLD NEWS 13 NOW, 93.7 KRQ, My 92.9, HOT 98.3 / Ventana Medical Systems Employees Night - Start your holiday weekend with your Tucson Padres! The skies light up above Kino Stadium following the game.
SUNDAY, JULY 1 - MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT / BARK IN THE PARK presented by Journal Broadcast Group and Buddy's Deals - In honor of the holidays all military personnel (active, retired, and veterans) get FOUR FREE BOX SEATS with Military I.D. compliments of Chase, Midas, Caballeros del Sol and the Jim Click Automotive Group. Present military ID at the Padres Box Office to get the tickets. Dogs will also be admitted free with their owners. Fans may sit on the berms or in their seats with their four-legged friends. The Bark in the Park will apply at all Padres Sunday home games. We have added an inflatable water slide in our outfield Kids Zone. Feel free to bring your swimsuit. Donate to the Goodwill of Southern Arizona all season and bring your receipt to the box office for 2-for-1 admission on Sundays throughout the year.
MONDAY, JULY 2 - KiiM FAMILY NIGHT co-sponsored by the Arizona Daily Star - A group or family of four will get four box seats, four hot dogs, and four soft drinks FOR ONLY $20 - a $70 value! Any tickets purchased after four will be sold at a $5.00 price. All you have to do is mention KiiM-FM or the Arizona Daily Star at the Padres Box Office. The first 2,000 fans get an Arizona Daily Star Collectors Series 11 x 17 poster - the first one is Yasmani Grandal (see attached). The other three feature Jedd Gyorko, Matt Clark, and the Kino Bambino. The posters will be given out at the next three Monday night home games.
TUESDAY, JULY 3 - STAR SPANGLED SPECTACULAR presented by Nova Home Loans, KOLD NEWS 13 NOW, KiiM-FM 99.5, K-HIT 107.5, and the new i97.5 - It's the Largest fireworks show at Kino Stadium in 2012. Gates will open up at the special time of 5:30 pm. Following the game, fans are invited to watch this great fireworks show of the season on the field! Always the biggest crowd of the season, so fans are encouraged to get their tickets early.
