Aberdeen, MD- The IronBirds (18-15) fell behind 3-0 early and never could get even in a 5-4 loss to Williamsport (12-20) in front of 6,181 fans at Ripken Stadium Wednesday night. Aberdeen has now lost six in a row and is 18-15 on the year. They close out their 6 game homestand tomorrow night, when Russ Brocato takes the mound.

Aberdeen starter Carlos Perez gave up 1 in the first on a solo homer and 2 in the second. He would allow the final 2 Crosscutter runs in the 5th, and departed down 5-2.

Now 18-15 and tied for the Wild Card with Hudson Valley, Aberdeen looks to make a run against the two best teams in the NYPL.
