Montreal, April 11, 2003 - The Montreal Alouettes have invited two new players including a receiver and a defensive end for training camp which begins next month.
Wide receiver Jonathon Cooper (5'8'', 180 lbs.) is a product of Sam Houston State University. In 45 games with the Bearkats, Cooper caught 185 passes for gains of 2,617 yards and 24 touchdowns, including an NCAA Division 1-AA leading 18 touchdowns in 2001. He was a first team All-SFL selection. He is 23.
Isaiah Harris (6'5'', 245 lbs.) is a 24-year-old defensive end who was allocated from the Atlanta Falcons to the NFL Europe Berlin Thunder. Starter for three seasons at St.Cloud State University, Harris was moved from the linebacker position to the defensive line. He led his team with 15 tackles for loss.
