Riders continue to bolster O-line

Today, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced that they have signed import offensive lineman Tango McCauley. Terms of the deal were not released.

Tango McCauley started 12 games as an offensive lineman with Alabama State in his senior season. McCauley was a two-year starter at Texas A&M before transferring to Alabama State for his senior year. The 24-year old was an All-American first-team selection and was named to the All-Southwestern Athletic Conference in his senior season.

PRO: First season in Saskatchewan...signed free agent contract with Saskatchewan in March of 2003.

COLLEGE: Started 12 games as offensive lineman with Alabama State in senior season...was a two-year starter at Texas A&M before transferring to Alabama State for senior year...All-American first-team selection by the National Sports Bureau in final season...was also All-Southwestern Athletic Conference first-team choice...played in 24 games at Texas A&M...started every game at the demanding left offensive tackle for the Aggies...can play tackle, guard, and centre...was redshirted in 1997.
