A Day After Receiving Weekly Honor, Reynaert Takes Home Monthly Award

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud members of the United Hockey League, announce that goaltender Jeff Reynaert (rain-ert) has been selected as the UHL's Southern Sports Supply Goaltender of the Month for October.

Reynaert, who took home the league's weekly goaltender honor yesterday, won the October award for his stellar play between the pipes in the K-Wings two games last week. The netminder stopped 49 of the 50 shots in his two outings (2-0-0), which included a 6-0 shutout victory over the Motor City Mechanics on Friday, October 28th.

The Sterling Heights native leads the UHL lead in both Goals Against Average (0.50) and Save Percentage (0.980)

The Southern Sports Supply Goaltender of the Month Award is the second earned by Reynaert in his UHL career and the first he has received as a member of the K-Wings.

Reynaert and K-Wings will start a three-game week beginning this Wednesday, November 2nd against the Rockford IceHogs at the Rockford MetroCentre.

The K-Wings will return home this Friday, November 4th at 7:30 p.m., when they host the Missouri River Otters on Scout Night presented by Meijer and Q 106.5 FM.

Kalamazoo will conclude the week this Saturday (11/5), when they travel to Muskegon to battle the two-time defending Colonial Cup Champions, the Muskegon Fury.
