Inland Empire 66ers News Release

San Bernardino, CA- The Inland Empire 66ers and San Bernardino School Managers have partnered up to provide free admission to the public for the first annual Lock-In Night on Wednesday, August 5th when the team takes on the Lake Elsinore Storm. This special event, made possible by the Thinkwise Credit Union, will serve as a fundraiser to help raise donations for college scholarships to help benefit deserving high school seniors.

Upon exit, fans will be asked to donate whatever they feel comfortable with to help support the cause. In addition, a portion of the team's post-game ball toss revenue will also go towards the scholarships.

"We want everyone to come out and enjoy a great game and donate what they are able to", commented 66ers Assistant General Manager Ryan English. "We always strive to be a great partner in the community and in particular raising awareness for the betterment of educational endeavors. This promotion is another example of that commitment".

"The Lock-In promotion provided us a unique and creative way to raise money for our students and have fun in the process" added President of San Bernardino School Managers Daniel Arellano. "We look forward to educating the public of the need for college scholarships here in the Inland Empire as well as all other programs that the community can participate in to help high school seniors".

The 66ers return to San Manuel Stadium on Thursday, July 30th when they take on the Bakersfield Blaze at 7:05pm. For additional information and inquiries contact the Inland Empire 66ers Front Office at 909-888-9922 or via email at info@ie66ers.com
