Tulsa 66ers News Release
TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa 66ers fell to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 94-82, on Saturday night inside the SpiritBank Event Center.
Andre Roberson, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, tallied 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 38 minutes. Reggie Williams scored a game-high 24 points alongside four rebounds. Ben Uzoh and Mario Little scored 15 and 14 points respectively.
"I think our team competed really well in the first half," said 66ers Head Coach Darko Rajakovic. "It looked like we ran out of gas in the second half. Sioux Falls is a really good opponent and a team with a lot of character. We'll take a few days to recharge our batteries and then continue to develop our game on both ends of the floor."
Tulsa jumped out to a 25-23 lead in the first quarter behind five three-pointers. Williams scored 19 points in the first half, shooting 4-for-7 from three-point range, to take a 45-40 lead into halftime.
The Skyforce began the second half with a 7-0 run and went on to outscore the 66ers 26-15 in the frame and take the lead. Sioux Falls led the remainder of the night to split the weekend two-game series with the 66ers.
Sioux Falls (12-6) was led by Henry Walker with 19 points and 11 boards. Justin Hamilton collected 18 points and seven rebounds.
Tulsa (4-15) forced 17 Sioux Falls turnovers and blocked five shots.
The 66ers embark on a two-game road trip next weekend, facing the Bakersfield Jam on Jan. 17 and the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Jan. 18.
