LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will return home for a brief four-game home stand against the defending PCL champion Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A's, on Saturday-Tuesday, April 24-27, at Cashman Field.

Saturday's game will begin at 7:10 p.m., Sunday at 12:05 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday at 7:10 p.m.

The 51s, under first-year manager Terry Kennedy, are currently on an eight-game Pacific Northwest road swing that will conclude tomorrow night in Tacoma.

Saturday's game will feature Los Angeles Dodger All-Star Shawn Green Player Cards, to be given out to the first 5,000 fans through the gates.

The River Cats won the PCL championship last season and compiled a Triple-A best 92-52 record (.639).

Following the four-game home stand, the 51s will have a scheduled off day on Wednesday, April 28. Las Vegas then will travel to Fresno, Calif., to face the Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, on Thursday-Sunday, April 29 - May 2.

Las Vegas will return home for a four-game series against the Tucson Sidewinders, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, on Monday-Thursday, May 3-6. The game on Thursday, May 6 will feature "Cox Communications School Day" with a field trip available to 5th grade students in the Clark County School District. The game will start at a special time of 10:30 a.m.

Tickets for all 51s home games can be purchased at the Cashman Field box office. Tickets can also be purchased through TicketMaster (474-4000, www.ticketmaster.com). TicketMaster outlets are located at Smith's Food & Drug, Tower Records and Nellis Air Force Base.

The individual game tickets for the home season are priced at $7.00 (general admission), $8.00 (reserved), $9.00 (plaza) and $11 (field).
