Sidewinders return home to face Fresno and Sacramento

Tucson, AZ â The Tucson Sidewinders return home on Saturday, April 22 to host the division rival Fresno Grizzlies (San Francisco Giants) and Sacramento RiverCats (Oakland Athletics). The 8-game homestand follows the most successful opening homestand in Sidewinder history. Tucson's 6-1 start in the 1st seven games of the season set a Sidewinders record, and their 6-2 record after 8 games matched a team best set in 1998 and 2003. 34,038 fans, including over 10,000 school children participating in D.A.R.E/G.R.E.A.T. days on April 13th and 14th, attended the homestand. The attendance was the highest mark in the last five for a Tucson opening homestand.
The homestand is highlighted by "Bark In The Park" on both Sunday, April 25th and Sunday, May 2nd and "Fantastic Fireworks!" on Saturday, May 1st. Good seats remain for all games. The Tucson Electric Park box office can be reached at (520) 434-1021. Gates open one hour before game time unless otherwise noted.
