
24 Former Admirals Open Training Camp in Nashville

Nashville, TN- Twenty-four players that have donned Admirals jerseys will be in attendance as the Nashville Predators open their 2006 training camp today with physical testing at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in the Music City. The first on-ice session will be on Friday, September 15th at the Centennial Sports Complex.
Eighteen players who played for the Admirals during their run to the Calder Cup Finals last season are expected to hit the ice including forwards Vernon Fiddler, Cal O'Reilly, Rich Peverley, Jerred Smithson, Scottie Upshall, Paul Brown, Brandon Segal, and Jordin Tootoo, and defensemen Ryan Parent, Greg Zanon, Sheldon Brookbank, Kevin Klein, T.J. Reynolds, and Shea Weber, and goaltenders Pekka Rinne and Scott Reid.
Admirals' head coach Claude Noel and assistant coach Lane Lambert will also be in attendance at camp, assisting the Predators' coaching staff until they return to Milwaukee on September 22nd.
Milwaukee will begin their own training camp on Monday, September 25th with physical testing in the morning and practice from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at the Kern Center, located on the campus of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The team's entire training camp schedule and roster will be announced next week.
The Admirals open the 2006-07 on Saturday, October 7th at 7:30 pm versus the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights. Individual tickets will go on sale in mid-September.
