Falcons open training camp September 24th

Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they will open their training camp on Sunday, September 24th with their first formal workout scheduled for Monday, September 25th at the MassMutual Center starting at 9:00 AM.
The Falcons will play a total of three preseason games as they will host the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday, September 29 at 7:35 PM, followed by a home preseason game against the Providence Bruins on Saturday, September 30 at 6:00 PM at the MassMutual Center. Springfield will conclude their preseason schedule on Sunday, October 1 when they play Providence at the Bridgewater Ice Arena at 1:00 PM. Tickets for both preseason home games are currently on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and will be $5.00 for both adults and youths. Tickets for the preseason games will be general admission.

The Falcons will open their 13th AHL season on Saturday, October 7 when they travel to Hartford to take on the Wolf Pack. Springfield's home opener will be Friday, October 20 when they host the Manchester Monarchs. Head coach Steve Stirling will enter his first season behind Springfield's bench, while assistant coach Darren Rumble returns for his second season as assistant coach with the Falcons.
