
Sharks announce preseason schedule

Worcester Sharks News Release
Worcester, MA - The Worcester Sharks, proud new members of the American Hockey League, announced today the release of their preseason schedule, which includes one home and two away games against Atlantic Division foes. Team President Michael T. Lehr made the announcement.
"We are excited to give our fans a preview of Worcester Sharks hockey, especially in an intimate environment such as the New England Sports Center," said Lehr.
The Sharks open their preseason schedule on Thursday, September 28th, against the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Simsbury International Skating Center in Simsbury, Connecticut. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday, September 29th, the Sharks will play their only home preseason game at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass. against the Manchester Monarchs. The game will begin at 8:00 p.m.
All Worcester Sharks full season ticket holders will receive one free ticket via the mail for every seat they hold during the 2006-07 season. A limited number of tickets are available to the public for $5 per ticket beginning on Monday, September 18. Tickets can be purchased at the New England Sports Center front desk at 121 Donald Lynch Blvd. in Marlborough or at the Sharks front office in the DCU Center at 50 Foster St. in Worcester.
The final preseason contest will be played on Saturday, September 30th against Manchester Monarchs in Hooksett, NH at the Tri-town Ice Arena. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday, October 14, the Worcester Sharks will swim back to the DCU Center in Worcester for the first home game of their inaugural season against the Portland Pirates. Full and half season ticket packages as well as 10-game, Hat Trick and Flex packs at affordable prices are still available for purchase.
