
2023 Neely Cup: Team Neely Takes the Championship

Portland, Ore. - Team Neely topped Team Heath in the Championship Final to capture the Neely Cup on Sunday, while Team Yaremchuk knocked off Team Sasser in the Consolation Final as Neely Cup Training Camp came to a close.
The four teams, named after Winterhawks Hall-of-Famers Randy Heath, Cam Neely, Grant Sasser and Ken Yaremchuk, are made up by 77 prospective Winterhawks. Teams included a mix of veteran talent with newly drafted prospects and several camp invites as well.

The Consolation Final consisted of a two-period game, with each period lasting 20 minutes (run-time until the final two minutes). The Championship Final also featured two periods, but each lasted 25 minutes (run-time until the final two minutes).
