Kamloops, BC - The 2020 WHL Bantam Draft will be held this week on Wednesday, April 22nd starting at 9:00am/PT in an online format.
The Blazers boast 10 picks in the first six rounds of the Bantam Draft. They also have all their picks from rounds 7-12.
Players eligible for the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft will be 2005-born players who reside in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
A few current players that were selected in the WHL Bantam Draft include Connor Zary, Quinn Schmiemann, Dylan Garand, Josh Pillar, and Logan Stankoven. In the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, the Blazers selected defenseman Mats Lindgren (5th overall) and forward Connor Levis (20th overall) in the first round.
