The 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup will be bringing more than just top-tier junior hockey action to Red Deer in May, there will be something for everyone at Fan Fest! Conveniently located in the Parkland and Prairie Pavilions, Fan Fest ensures there is almost always something happening at Westerner Park.
Fan Fest
Visit the MasterCard Memorial Cup "main street" showcasing team and sponsor booths, military displays, interactive games, and photo opportunities all housed in the Parkland Pavilion. Fan Fest is open daily, 4 hours prior to puck drop and is free to the public. Look for a detailed list of booths and attractions on mastercardmemorialcup.ca in early May.
Hockey Hall of Fame Exhibit, presented by Collins Barrow
Hockey's historical headquarters comes west! An array of CHL, WHL, and NHL trophies will be on display throughout the week inside this unique exhibit. Â Displays featuring memorabilia, unique facts, and memorable photos from the CHL and WHL's history bring this showcase experience to life.
Merchandise Zone
Be sure to grab all your exclusive 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup merchandise, along with select team items. A wide array of mementos, hats, t-shirts, golf shirts and jackets provides something for fans of all ages!
Molson Hockey House
The Molson Hockey House is exactly what you would expect a 'beer gardens' to be, only better. Not only will this area serve as a meeting place for fans headed to the evening game at the Enmax Centrium, but it will be the central watering hole for all the action after the game. Molson Hockey House is located in the Prairie Pavilion and open 4 hours prior to each game and is free entry, unless otherwise indicated. Molson Hockey House will temporarily close at puck drop, re-opening at the end of the second intermission.
Post-game Molson Hockey House will be the place to be. Top-tier local and national entertainment will hit the stage nightly to ensure the House is rockin'. To celebrate the MasterCard Memorial Cup returning to the West, what would an after-party be without a mechanical bull?
