Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
Charleston, WV (June 1, 2012) - The West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission has postponed today's Double-A session of today state baseball tournament due to inclement weather at Appalachian Power Park. The Class A bracket is, however, still slated to begin play today at 5:00 pm.
On Saturday, Nitro and Princeton will meet in the AAA Championship game at 10:00 am. Roughly one hour after that game concludes, the Double-A semifinals will begin. After Liberty plays Wyoming East, Point Pleasant will take on Herbert Hoover. The Class A Championship Game will be played Saturday evening at roughly 7:00 pm, pending the conclusion of the Double-A semifinals. Fans can purchase one ticket and stay at Appalachian Power Park to watch all four games.
The Double-A Championship will then be played on Sunday at 1 pm.
