2010-11 Tickets Now Available

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that season tickets for the 2010-11 season are now available. The announcement was made by Red Claws President and General Manager.

One of the hottest tickets in sports in 2009-10, the Red Claws sold out all 24 of their home games during their inaugural season, the first NBA Development League to accomplish the feat. The team will not increase ticket prices for the 2010-11 season.

"We knew that Mainers were diehard basketball fans, but the support the team received in our first season was more than we could have ever anticipated or hoped for," said Jennings. "The Red Claws had a packed house every single night. It was an absolutely incredible atmosphere, for the fans and the players. If you didn't have a ticket ahead of time, you couldn't get in - it was amazing."

Season ticket prices range from $240 to $600 for the 24-game regular season. A limited number of premium seats are also available. Fans interested in purchasing Hollywood, Gold or Silver ticket packages should call for 207-210-6655 for information. End zone seats, which are reserved for individual ticket sale and group sales, will once again not be available in a season ticket packages to make them available to community and school groups. Individual tickets will go on sale in November.

Season tickets may be purchased by calling 207-210-6655 or online at www.maineredclaws.com. Season ticket holders will have the option of traditional paper tickets or a convenient season ticket card. The TicketReturn system allows account holders to easily email their tickets to friends and relatives who can then opt to print them out at home or pick them up at Will Call.

"We had so much to be proud of in our first season - a league-record 24 sellouts, leading the league in new season ticket sales, ticket revenue, and merchandise sales," said Jennings. "Red Claws fans are the greatest fans in basketball and deserve the best. We look forward to making Season 2 even better than the first."
