BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. Baltimore Orioles 1B Chris Davis joins the Baysox on a Major League Rehab Assignment. With the moves, the Baysox have 24 active players on the 24-man roster. Players on Major League Rehab Assignments do not count against a team's 24-man roster.
Davis has hit .225 (9-40) in 10 games with the Orioles this season after being acquired from the Texas Rangers with one home run and three RBIs. In 28 games with the Rangers, Davis batted .250 (19-76) with three doubles, three home runs and six RBIs.
