
Four New Hampshire Pitchers Combine on Two-Hitter

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
(Portland, ME)-Danny Perales, Mark Sobolewski and Mike McDade hit homers to support the two-hit pitching of four Fisher Cat hurlers in a 7-0 win over the Sea Dogs Sunday at Hadlock Field.
New Hampshire, which claimed the Eastern Division title with an 11-0 win over Portland on Saturday night, made it back-to-back shutouts.
Drew Hutchison (3-0) worked the first five innings, allowing only one hit. He did not walk a batter and struck out eight. Wes Etheridge and Rey Gonzalez combined for three perfect innings and Bobby Korecky worked around a Mitch Dening triple in the ninth to preserve the shutout.
The Fisher Cats took the lead in the top of the second inning. Yan Gomes walked and Danny Perales homered, his fourth of the season, to make it 2-0.
New Hampshire (76-65) extended the lead in the top of the fourth inning. Mike McDade singled, advancing to third on two passed balls. He scored on a sacrifice fly by Perales. Mark Sobolewski followed with a home run over the "Maine Monster" in left field for a 4-0 lead.
In the top of the sixth inning, Moises Sierra singled and McDade homered off Portland losing pitcher Charlie Haeger for a 6-0 lead.
New Hampshire scored its final run against Portland (59-82) in the top of the ninth. Sobolewski (2-for-4, 2 R, RBI) doubled, moved to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jonathan Diaz.
The Fisher Cats conclude the regular season in Portland on Monday at 1pm. Radio coverage with Bob Lipman begins with the OCE North America Pre-Game Show at 12:45pm on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network. Fisher Cats RHP Yohan Pino (3-8, 4.15) will start against Portland RHP Brock Huntzinger (5-11, 6.17)
