Legends' Late Lead Slips Away in Loss to Suns

January 23, 2026 - Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends (5-8) dropped their second straight at home Friday night, falling 107-100 to the Valley Suns (5-8) at Comerica Center. The Legends came out firing, building a nine-point lead in the first quarter behind a fast start from Dalano Banton. But Valley chipped away in the second and used a dominant fourth quarter to take control late, outscoring Texas 35-22 in the final frame. A 14-2 Suns run in the closing minutes sealed the deal. Legends Win Streak Ended After Loss to Capital City

January 19, 2026 - Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends (5-7) saw their three-game winning streak snapped with a 113-102 MLK Day loss to the Capital City Go-Go (7-4) at Comerica Center. The Go-Go came out strong behind a 36-point first quarter and closed the game on a 20-14 run to hold off a late Texas push. The Legends were led by Dalano Banton's 17 points and 5 rebounds. Mavericks Sign Jeremiah Robinson-Earl

January 15, 2026 - Frisco, TX - The Dallas Mavericks announced today they have signed forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a 10-day contract under the NBA's hardship exception. Robinson-Earl will wear No. 23, the same number he wore during training camp with Dallas this past preseason. Robinson-Earl (6-8, 240) joins the Mavericks after appearing in 17 games for the Indiana Pacers this season, averaging 4.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game. January 14, 2026 - South Haven, MS - The Texas Legends secured their third straight victory in a wire-to-wire battle with the Memphis Hustle, pulling away late for a 132-123 win at the Landers Center. Rookie guard Mark Armstrong led the charge with a season-high 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while adding 3 assists and 2 steals.
