Mavericks Sign Jett Howard to Two-Way Contract

July 21, 2026 - DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have signed guard/forward Jett Howard to a Two-Way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. In a related move, the Mavericks have requested waivers on Two-Way forward Tyler Smith. Howard (6-8, 215) holds career averages of 4.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 11.0 minutes in 133 games with the Orlando Magic. Texas Legends Announce College Classic Presented by Kia

July 21, 2026 - FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends, NBA G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, announced today the inaugural Texas Legends College Classic presented by Kia, a four-day college basketball showcase set to take place December 18-21, 2026, at Comerica Center in Frisco. The American Heart Association will serve as the event's official charitable partner. Mavericks Sign Tobi Lawal to Two-Way Contract

July 6, 2026 - DALLAS, TX - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have signed rookie Tobi Lawal to a Two-Way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lawal (6-9, 213) was selected by Dallas in the second round (48th overall pick) of the 2026 NBA Draft after finishing his college career at Virginia Tech. As a senior for the Hokies in 2025-26, he averaged 12.3 points (.542 FG%, .763 FT%), 8.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 23 games (17 starts). July 3, 2026 - FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends, NBA G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, announced today their selections in the 2026 NBA G League International Draft: forwards Jorge Diaz-Graham, Guillermo Diaz-Graham, Muzamil "Zee" Hamoda, and Nathan Golly. With the No. 1 overall pick, the Legends selected Jorge Diaz-Graham (6-11, 205), who posted 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while leading Oregon State with 32 blocks as a senior in 2025-26.
