Maine Celtics Add NBA Veteran Keon Johnson

December 1, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics today announced that the team has acquired NBA veteran guard Keon Johnson off waivers. Johnson is a four-year NBA veteran and was the 21st overall selection in the 2021 NBA Draft. Last season, Johnson played 79 games (56 starts) for the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. In his career, Johnson has played in 161 NBA games between Portland, the Los Angeles Clippers, and Brooklyn. He has averaged 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists all-time. ... Full Story

November 30, 2025 - WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Stefan Todorovic scored a career-high 31 points off the bench as the Maine Celtics rolled past the Westchester Knicks 122-95 on Sunday. Maine (6-3) has now won six consecutive games and earned their first road sweep of the season. Led by Todorovic, Maine's bench outscored Westchester 54-22. November 28, 2025 - WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Hason Ward led Maine with a triple-double as the Celtics dominated the Westchester Knicks 98-84 on Friday night to win their fifth consecutive game. Maine (5-3) earned their first road victory of the NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament. Hason War d recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 10 blocks. Ron Harper Jr. Named NBA G League Player of the Week

November 25, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The NBA G League today announced that Maine Celtics guard Ron Harper Jr. has been named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Nov. 17-23. Harper led Maine to two wins in the week, both over Delaware. For the week, he averaged 36.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. Harper shot 56.3% from the floor and 40.7% from three-point range. He is currently leading the G League in scoring, averaging 29.8 points per contest.
