Angel Reese Named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Second Consecutive Week

September 1, 2026 - ATLANTA - Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese has been named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league announced today. The honor marks Reese's second with Atlanta and fourth of her three-year WNBA career. Reese led the Dream to a 2-1 record during the week, averaging 14.4 points, 17.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. The week was highlighted by another historic stretch for Reese. Dream Gets Big Win over Minnesota Heading into FIBA Break

August 30, 2026 - The Atlanta Dream showed why it will be a tough matchup for anyone in the upcoming WNBA playoffs by defeating the league's top team, Minnesota, 89-81 on Sunday at Gateway Center Arena.
