September 23, 2025 - GENEVA, Ill. - In a dramatic Game 5 finale, the Kane County Cougars edged the Sioux Falls Canaries 7-5 in 10 innings to win their second straight Miles Wolff Cup and claim back-to-back American Association championships. Down 2-0 early, the Cougars rallied behind clutch hits from Todd Lott and Trendon Craig to tie the game in the seventh. September 20, 2025 - Sioux Falls, SD - It was the final game of the American Association season, and Game 5 to decide the winner of the Miles Wolff Cup between the Kane County Cougars and Sioux Falls Canaries. The Canaries (7-6) got to Jack Fox in the bottom of the second inning. Joe Vos poked a single into right field, and advanced to third after a base hit by Scott Combs. Cougars Force Game 5 with Massive Three-Run Ninth

September 19, 2025 - Sioux Falls, SD - In more late-game drama of the Miles Wolff Cup Finals, the Kane County Cougars strung together three runs in the top of the ninth chasing two against the Sioux Falls Canaries to stun the crowd at the Birdcage, and force a massive Game 5. It was an early strike by the Canaries against Vin Timpanelli in the bottom of the second inning. September 18, 2025 - Sioux Falls, SD - Ryan Zimmerman matched his career-high with 12 strikeouts, leading the Canaries to a 5-3 win over Kane County and moving Sioux Falls within one game of capturing the Miles Wolff Cup. The Cougars grabbed an early 2-0 lead before Mike Hart launched a three-run homerun in the third inning to put the Birds ahead for good.
