Tritz Named Executive of the Year

September 28, 2026 - Lincoln, Nebraska - The American Association of Professional Baseball has announced that Lincoln Saltdogs General Manager Shane Tritz has been named the 2026 AAPB Executive of the Year. Tritz, who just concluded his fifth season as the Lincoln Saltdogs General Manager, was selected via a vote of the Association's executives, managers and media personnel. Former Monarch Hendrickson Makes Major League Debut with Astros

September 24, 2026 - Kansas City, KS - Big left-handed pitcher Josh Hendrickson who went 10 - 5 in 2025 with the Kansas City Monarchs, made is major league debut with the Houston Astros last night in Seattle. In his time in KC, he pitched over 104 innings of work while punching out 116 batters. After the Monarchs 2025 season ended, Hendrickson was loaned to the Atlantic League High Point Rockers for their playoff run. He returned to the Monarchs roster for the 2026 season over the winter.
