Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they have acquired guard Larry Drew II. He is scheduled to join the team today and be available for Sioux Falls' final three games of the regular season.
Drew II, a 6-2, 180-pound guard out of UCLA, was acquired as a rookie by Sioux Falls in 2013. He has started in 77 of his 83 games played with the Skyforce over the previous two seasons while averaging 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists in just over 35 minutes played per game. Drew II also holds both the Skyforce and the NBA Development League record for recording the most assists in a single game with 23 on December 25, 2014 against the Rio Grande Valley Vipors.
Drew II returns to Sioux Falls after having spent much of the season playing overseas, and his first opportunity to be in uniform for the Skyforce will come on Tuesday, March 29 against the Iowa Energy at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
Tickets are still available for Tuesday's matchup. Visit the Sanford Pentagon box office or any Ticketmaster location for more information.
