NEWS AND NOTES

ON THE ROAD AGAIN : The Portland Sea Dogs look to snap a three-game losing streak, opening up an eight-game trip on Monday night against the Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies affiliate) at FirstEnergy Stadium...The two teams had their entire last series at Hadlock Field postponed due to Wet Grounds - one of those games will be made up tomorrow morning as part of doubleheader, as the 'Dogs will be the home team for Game 2.

10 DID IT AGAIN : Binghamton scored 10 runs for the second straight day and beat the Sea Dogs, 10-4 on Mother's Day...Jeff McNeil became the second opponent in team history to hit for the cycle, going 4-for-6...McNeil homered in his last at-bat against Teddy Stankiewicz with two outs in the eighth inning...Josh Ockimey and Tony Renda each homered to lead Portland's offense...Jantzen Witte, appearing in his first game with the 'Dogs, went 2-for-4 with a run-scoring double.
