The Senators embark on a seven-game road trip beginning with a three-game series at the Bowie Baysox which starts Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. at Prince George's Stadium. Please find tonight's Senators game notes attached.

TONIGHT'S GAME The Senators open up a seven-game road trip with a three game series against the Bowie Baysox beginning Monday night. The Senators split Sunday's doubleheader against New Hampshire, dropping game one 6-1 while walking-off in game two 2-1. The Senators and Baysox played six of the first nine games of the season against each other, and both teams won three games. The two clubs are scheduled to play 23 games against each other this season, the most games the Senators play against any Eastern League opponent.

ROSTER MOVEMENT Outfielder Yadiel Hernandez and catcher Jake Lowery were promoted to Triple-A Syracuse prior to Monday's game while pitcher Kyle McGowin was added to the Senators from Potomac and catcher Matt Reistetter was added from Syracuse. McGowin went 1-5 with a 6.54 ERA across eight starts with the Senators last season. Reistetter played with the Senators from April 17-23 of this season and went 0-1 in one pinch-hit appearance. HOW HOT IS THAT IN KELVIN? With hits in both game of Sunday's twin bill, Kelvin Gutierrez expanded his Senators season- high hitting streak to 13 games. The streak is the second longest in the Eastern League this season. The 22-year-old is batting .296 (16-54) over the 13 game stretch. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. currently holds the longest hitting streak in the Eastern League this season at 15 games from April 21 to May 10.

IF YOU'RE NOT FIRST YOU'RE LAST The Senators are 11-3 when they score first in a game while just 3-18 when their opponents score first. BLANKED Friday's game was the sixth time the Senators have been shutout this season which leads the Eastern League. On the other hand, New Hampshire has thrown four shutouts this season which is tied for the most in the league.

EXTRA HELPING OF EXTRA INNINGS Thursday's night's game was the 7th extra inning game the Senator's have played in this season which is the most of any team in the Eastern League. The Senators are 4-3 in extra inning contests. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Jefry Rodriguez starts the series opener for the Senators. The right-hander is 2-3 with a 4.58 ERA across seven starts this season. Rodriguez earned the win after allowing five runs on six hits last Wednesday May 9 at Erie. BOWIE STARTING PITCHER Bowie counters with starter Michael Kelly. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 5.84 ERA across six games and five starts this season. Kelly made his first relief appearance of the season in his last outing against Altoona on May 9 and tossed four shutout and one-hit innings to notch the save. Kelly was signed by the Orioles as a Minor League free agent on December 14, 2017.
