Hospitality Night at the Rays with $5 Tickets; Team Hosts Charlotte at 7:05pm

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays will host the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Stingrays' games on Tuesday nights are the place to be in the Low Country with $5 tickets at the box office for anyone with a valid college ID or valid pay stub from the hospitality, golf, and food and beverage industries. Come early and enjoy $2 Bud Light Draught beer until the end of the first period.
Tickets are still available for tonight's game ranging from $13 - $19, so stop by the Coliseum Box Office or purchase online at www.ticketmaster.com. Have a group of ten or more? Call the Stingrays at 744-2248 for special discounts.

On the strength of a pair of goals each from Jeff Corey and Maxime Lacroix, South Carolina rolled to a 4-1 win over the Mississippi Sea Wolves Sunday night at the North Charleston Coliseum. Travis Morin collected assists on all four markers and goaltender Ian Vigier, the reigning ECHL Goaltender of the Week, improved to 5-0 with 31 saves for the Rays. Charlotte, meanwhile, was doubled-up by the Florida Everblades Saturday evening in Estero, 4-2.

South Carolina's special teams have excelled against Charlotte this season, converting 23.4% of their power play chances while the penalty killing unit has thwarted 50 of 53 opportunities (94.3%) ...
