
Erie SeaWolves Announce 2019 Schedule

(Erie, PA) - The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, today release their 2019 season schedule. 2019 Opening Day, presented by Plyler Entry Systems, is Friday, April 5 against the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at UPMC Park at 6:05 p.m.
The SeaWolves will play 70 home games including 32 weekend dates. The 2019 schedule also features four UPMC Health Plan Education Days (May 9 & 15 and June 4 & 5) which will begin at 10:35 a.m. and five weekday matinee games with 12:05 p.m. start times (April 10 & 24, June 19 and July 17 & 29).
April and May night games in 2019 will once again feature start times of 6:05 p.m. Night games beginning May 31 will be played at 7:05 p.m. All ten Sunday games begin at 1:35 p.m.
The SeaWolves will host the Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Altoona Curve, for three series at UPMC Park (April 8-10, June 3-5 and July 11-14). The SeaWolves will host the Double-A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, the Akron RubberDucks, for four series at UPMC Park (May 7-9, May 31-June 2, July 15-17 and August 16-18).
The SeaWolves will give away 2019 magnet schedules as fans exit the ballpark tonight courtesy of the Crime Victim Center of Erie County. The SeaWolves continue a four-game series against the Akron RubberDucks on Sunday night at 6:05 p.m. at UPMC Park. Sunday features post-game Zambelli Fireworks set to the hits of John Mellencamp thanks to Bonnell's Auto Group. On Monday, the SeaWolves wrap up the 2018 season as they take on Akron at 1:35 p.m. on Buck Day presented by Budweiser and Rocket 105.
