RENO, NEVADA, March 31, 2015 - The Bakersfield Jam (34-15) fell to the Reno Bighorns (19-30) 131-105 Tuesday night at the Reno Events Center. Xavier Munford paced the Jam with a game-high 32 points, to go along with nine rebounds, eight assists and five steals.
Bakersfield led 33-28 after one period, shooting 53.8 percent from field while holding Reno to 40.0 percent. The second frame saw the Bighorns connect on 5-of-11 from beyond the arc, erasing the Jam's lead and going into the half all tied up at 61.
The second half belonged to Reno from start to finish, as they outscored Bakersfield 70-44 to run away with the home victory.
Renaldo Major had 24 points and eight rebounds, while Adrian Thomas tallied 13 points. Casey Prather added 11 points and seven rebounds. Mac Koshwal and Cameron Moore contributed 10 points apiece.
Dar Tucker led the scoring attack for Reno with 29 points, while David Stockton (26 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds) and Coby Karl (26 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) each recorded a triple-double. Sim Bhullar posted a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Bakersfield will head back home to play their last regular season game on Saturday, April 4 against the Santa Cruz Warriors. Tip-off is set at 7:00 p.m. PT.
