
Bighorns Blowout Bakersfield During Final Home Game

RENO, Nev., Mar. 31, 2015- The Bighorns gave their fans a show during their final contest at home, outscoring the division leaders, the Bakersfield Jam, in three of the four quarters while two Bighorns logged a triple-double in their 131-105 victory over the Jam.
Tucker led the Bighorns with 29 points, seven rebounds and three assists. David Stockton logged another triple-double with 26 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds while Coby Karl logged his first triple-double of the season with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Sim Bhullar finished the contest going 9-10 from the field, totaling 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Xavier Munford led the Jam with 32 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. Renaldo Major added 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists for the Jam.
Tucker and Karl led the Bighorns during the first quarter notching nine points each while Stockton and Reggie Hearn notched three points each. Karl grabbed four rebounds in the quarter while Stockton had three assists in the first.
The Bighorns outscored the Jam in the second quarter 33-28. Ayers, who went 5-7 from the field in the quarter notching 12 points while Tucker tallied 10 points, three rebounds and two assists in the second. Tucker went 4-6 from the field.
The two teams went into the locker room all knotted up at 61. The Bighorns shot 43.5% from behind the arc in the first compared to the Jam's 22.2%.
The Bighorns came out of the locker room on fire, outscoring the Jam 39-15 in the third quarter. Bhullar went 4-4 from the field in the quarter, netting eight points and grabbing seven rebounds. Stockton tallied nine points and added six assists in the quarter. Tucker and Karl had nine points each in the third.
David Stockton notched 12 points, two rebounds and two assists in the final quarter. Karl had nine points and six assists. Bhullar netted six points and three rebounds in the final quarter.
The Bighorns finish off their season in Santa Cruz, taking on the Santa Cruz Warriors Friday, Apr. 3 at 7 p.m.
