Idaho Stampede News Release

SALT LAKE CITY (March 26, 2015) - The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has assigned forward Grant Jerrett to the Idaho Stampede, the Jazz's exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League team. Jerrett is expected to be in uniform for the Stampede's game Friday, March 27 against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

This is the second assignment to the Stampede for Jerrett this season with the Jazz. Jerrett (6-10, 232, Arizona) appeared in four games (all starts), for the Stampede on his assignment from March 10-19, averaging 12.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.5 blocks in 33.8 minutes per contest. Jerrett's best statistical game came when he registered 27 points (11-16 FG, 5-7 3FG), 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a two-point loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders on March 14. He also appeared in 10 games for the Oklahoma City Blue while on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this season.

The 6-10 forward has seen action in one game for the Jazz since being acquired from Oklahoma City as part of a three-team trade on Feb. 19. He previously appeared in five games as a reserve for Oklahoma City, averaging 1.4 points in 5.0 minutes per contest.

Jerrett is one of three players to be assigned to the D-League under the Jazz-Stampede single affiliation. Other players on the current Jazz roster with D-League experience include Ian Clark, Jack Cooley, Bryce Cotton, Jeremy Evans, Rudy Gobert, and Elijah Millsap.
