Legends Acquire Returning Player Rights, Future 2nd Round Pick in Trade with Westchester

FRISCO, TX (Feb. 19, 2015)-- The Texas Legends today announced that they have acquired the returning player rights to Luke Harangody and Jeff Adrien as well as Idaho's 2015 2nd round draft pick in a trade with the Westchester Knicks. In return, Texas sends guard Doron Lamb and its own original 2015 6th round pick in the 2015 NBA D-League Draft. The trade is pending Lamb's successful completion of a physical.

Harangody (6-8, 246, Notre Dame) was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics. He played 28 games with the Celtics before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Most recently, Harangody has been playing for Valencia of the Spanish ACB.

Adrien (6-7, 245, Connecticut) went undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft but signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2010, playing 23 games and averaging 2.5 points, 2.5 rebounds in 8.5 minutes. In 2013, he had his best NBA season averaging 10.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists with the Milwaukee Bucks. Adrien spent 17 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves this season before joining the Chinese CBA team, Guangdong Southern.

Both players were acquired by Westchester in the 2014 NBA Development League Expansion Draft.
