Arinze Onuaku Selected as 2015 NBA D-League All-Star

The Canton Charge, presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, will be represented by forward/center Arinze Onuaku in the 2015 NBA Development League All-Star Game in Brooklyn, New York on February 15th, the league announced today.

The honor is Onuaku's third in as many seasons with Canton. After spending 2014 training camp with the Indiana Pacers, he was acquired as a returning player earlier this season. Onuaku has played in 23 games for the Charge this season (20 starts) and is averaging 18.8 points on .650 shooting with 12.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 35.0 minutes per game. He currently is leading the league in rebounds per game and is second in the league in field goal percentage. He has also spent training camp and the early part of 2013-14 with the New Orleans Pelicans and earned a call-up to the Cleveland Cavaliers late last season.

The ninth annual NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire tips off at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 15th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will air live on NBA TV.

The Charge hit the road for their next game for a visit to the Lone Star State to take on the Texas Legends on Wednesday, February 4th at 8:00 p.m. Canton will return home to face the Reno Bighorns on Thursday, February 12th at 7:00 p.m.!
