Calgary Stampeders News Release

The Calgary Stampeders play their final 2013 regular-season game against an East Division opponent on Saturday as they face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at McMahon Stadium. Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m.

Calgary is 10-3 going into the contest as last week's 35-11 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats ensured the Red and White's sixth consecutive winning season under head coach and general manager John Hufnagel.

The Bombers are 2-11 after dropping a 53-17 decision to the visiting BC Lions in Week 14.

The Stamps are 5-1 at home this season and 6-1 against East Division opponents while the Bombers are 1-5 on the road and 1-6 against the West.

The Stamps and Blue Bombers were longtime West Division rivals and, with Ottawa's return to the CFL in 2014, will once again be part of the same division next year.

Calgary and Winnipeg have faced each other 190 times over the years with the Stamps holding a 101-89 edge in the all-time series. The most recent meeting was on July 26 as the Stamps claimed a 37-24 victory at Winnipeg's Investors Group Field.
