Tonight, the SeaWolves return home for a brief, three-game set as they host the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves were thumped by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Sunday 22-1. Despite the loss, the SeaWolves maintained a share of first place in the Western Division. Yesterday's off day was the SeaWolves last scheduled day off until the All-Star break (21 consecutive games)...Matt Crouse takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 17th appearance, 11th start and first appearance against the Rock Cats. Crouse is 1-1 with two no-decisions in his last four starts. Over that span, he has allowed just two runs in 22.2 IP. Crouse tossed another solid outing in his last start despite taking a no-decision at Portland on June 12. He shut out the Sea Dogs for five innings, allowing two hits with no walks while equaling a season-high with seven strikeouts. He left leading but the bullpen could not hold the lead. Erie on in eight innings 3-2...RHP Trevor May takes the mound for the Rock Cats making his 14th start. May rook a loss in his last start against Altoona on June 12. In the game, he allowed three runs on five hits with three walks and eight strikeouts in 6.1 innings pitched. In seven road starts, May is 3-2 with a 2.84 ERA (May has a 5.23 ERA in six home starts). May pitched twice against Erie last season while pitching with Reading and went 0-1 with a 14.14 ERA (11 ER/7.0 IP).
