FLORIDA EVERBLADES 'Blades Trade Forward Baker to Trenton

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Tuesday that the team has traded forward Kevin Baker to the Trenton Titans in exchange for future considerations.

Baker was scoreless in seven games played with the Everblades after being acquired from the South Carolina Stingrays on December 29, 2012. Baker posted eight points (5g, 3a) in 19 games this season split between South Carolina (8 games) and the San Francisco Bulls (11 games). The 5-11, 186-pound center, totaled 138 points (44g, 94a) during his four-year collegiate career at the University of Western Ontario (2008-2012).

Prior to college, the Brampton Ontario native accumulated 228 career points (109g, 119a) in four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with Owen Sound, Sudbury, and Oshawa from 2003-2008.

Florida plays host to the Trenton Titans on Wednesday at Germain Arena. Game time is a 7:30 p.m. Fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs, $2 drafts, and $2 wines in the concourse all night long. Wednesday is also College Night; Ladies get in free, and guys receive a $5 ticket when they present their college I.D. to the Capital Bank Box Office.
