
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Florida's Roy fined
Florida's Mathieu Roy has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #486, Greenville at Florida, on Jan. 27.
Roy is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Elmira's Kramer fined
Elmira's Darren Kramer has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #502, Trenton at Elmira, on Jan. 27.
Kramer was assessed a game misconduct for continuing an altercation under Rule #46.5 at 18:43 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Trenton's Heeter suspended
Trenton's Cal Heeter has been suspended two additional games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #490, Wheeling at Trenton, on Jan. 26.
Heeter was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #53.4 at 7:02 of the third period.
Heeter missed Trenton's game at Elmira on Jan. 27 and will miss the club's games at Florida on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1.
Utah's Maxwell suspended
Utah's Tommy Maxwell has been suspended one additional game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #499, Utah at Stockton, on Jan. 26.
Maxwell was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for interference under Rule #56.4 at 9:35 of the second period.
Maxwell missed Utah's game at Stockton on Jan. 27 and will miss the club's game at Ontario on Feb. 1.
Bakersfield's Lagace suspended
Bakersfield's Jacob Lagace has been suspended two additional games a result of his actions following ECHL Game #479, Bakersfield at Ontario, on Jan. 21.
Lagace missed Bakersfield's games at Wheeling (Jan. 25), at Toledo (Jan. 26) and at Kalamazoo (Jan. 27) and will miss the club's games at Las Vegas (Jan. 30) and vs. Colorado (Feb. 1).
