CROSSTOWN FACE-OFF / WET WEDNESDAY

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: With their 4-1 victory over Evansville on Wednesday, the Cyclones took over the top spot in the North Division standings. Just 48 hours later, the same two teams will do battle again for the third of 13 times during the regular season. Cincinnati has strung together three straight wins, which is the second-longest active streak in the ECHL. A victory tonight would tie their season high for consecutive "W's."

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: Brian Foster Adult T-Shirt Night - The first 1,500 fans age 18+ will receive a Cyclones T-Shirt featuring Foster's name and #35 on the back courtesy of Meijer.

SCOUTING THE ICEMEN: Rich Kromm's club has now dropped four of its last five games and remains in the basement of the North Division standings - 11 points behind Cincinnati. Veteran forwards Todd Robinson and Josh Beaulieu lead the IceMen offensively with 16 points (1 goal, 15 assists) and 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists) respectively. Of Robinson's 15 assists, 12 of them have come on the power play - which ranks him second best in the ECHL in that category. Former Cyclone Nathan Moon has earned points in both of the meetings with Cincinnati this year and now ranks fifth on the team in scoring with 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists). Between the pipes, Paul Karpowich has earned Evansville's last two victories and owns a 3-6-0-1 record with a 3.31 goals-against average after posting 27 saves on Wednesday. Rob Madore, who earned the "W" over Cincinnati on November 15, is 3-7-0 with a 3.21 GAA.

About Wednesday Night vs. Evansville: Behind Josh Shalla's third multi-goal game of the season, the Cyclones moved back into the top spot of the North Division standings with a 4-1 victory over the IceMen front of 1,838 at U.S. Bank Arena. Garrett Wilson and Mike Pelech also notched multi-point efforts as Cincinnati won their third consecutive game. Mattias Lindstrom earned his first game-winning goal as well.

New Faces In Net: This weekend, the Cyclones will have a new pair of goalies on the roster. The Milwaukee Admirals have assigned rookie Magnus Helberg to the Clones, who comes in with a 3-0 record thus far. The San Antonio Rampage have sent down last year's OHL Goalie of the Year Michael Houser. To make room on the roster, Brian Foster has been placed on the reserve list.

Shalla's Shelling: Cyclones forward Josh Shalla picked up where he left off before his call-up to the AHL. He posted his third multi-goal game of the season on Wednesday, which leads the team. In fact, he has earned two-point games in three of his last four appearances.
