K-Wings Drop Second Straight To Solar Bears

Orlando, FL- Unable to click on the power-play (0-for-6), the Kalamazoo Wings (7-7-0-0) dropped their second straight to the Orlando Solar Bears (8-5-2-1) and third straight on the road with a 2-1 setback at the Amway Center Sunday afternoon.
Striking on their lone power-play chance of the opening period, Oliver Fortier (7th) gave the Solar Bears a 1-0 advantage, as he poked a free puck past Joel Martin with 51.4 remaining in the period. Fortier's goal was his team-leading fifth on the power-play.
Fortier (8th) continued his scoring dominance against the K-Wings in the second period, as the forward netted his second goal of the afternoon and his fourth in two games against Kalamazoo with a rebound marker midway in the stanza.
Cutting the deficit in a half early in the third period was Dustin Cloutier, who netted his third-goal of the season on a centering pass from Steven Anthony.
Orlando's Hannu Toivonen (1-0-0-0) made 38 saves in the victory, while Martin (5-5-0-0) turned aside 24 in defeat.
Kalamazoo will continue a four-game road swing with the third-leg of the trip this Tuesday, November 20th at 7 p.m. against Orlando.
The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium on Friday, November 23rd with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Komets on WNWN Rivalry Night and FANomenal Friday, featuring $2 beer, $1 Pepsi and $1 hot dogs.
Single-game for the 2012-2013 season are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday's. To charge tickets by phone, please call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 14 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more.
Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
