Prince Albert SK - The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 20-year-old defenceman Davis Vandane from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a conditional draft pick 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Vandane, a native of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, has appeared in 124 WHL games, recording 3 goals and 40 assists along with 58 penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of plus-22. The 6'4", 215-pound blue liner has also appeared in 30 WHL playoff games in the past 2 years with the Chiefs, totalling 7 assists and 14 penalty minutes.

"With Antoine Corbin still in Hamilton on a try-out, this gives us the opportunity to bring in a solid 20-year-old defenceman with size and experience," said Raiders General Manager Bruno Campese.

If Corbin is re-assigned by the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Raiders will have 14 days to assess their 20-year-old situation and get down to the overage player limit of three.

Raiders season tickets are on sale now, with plenty of great seats still available for the 2012-2013 season. Call 764-GAME (4263) or stop by the Raider office in the Art Hauser Centre for more information.
