Barons Begin Season's Final Month with Ten-Game Home Stand

July 27, 2012 - Southern League (SL) Birmingham Barons

Birmingham, AL - The Birmingham Barons return home for their longest home stand of the season starting Sunday, July 29th. The action at Regions Park starts with a five-game series against the Jackson Generals, Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and concludes with five games against the Mobile BayBears, Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamond Backs.

The home stand beings with Military Sunday presented by DRASH, Dreamland BBQ and Red Diamond followed by Back To Basics Monday sponsored by YP Real Yellow Pages. Highlighting the schedule will be the first of two 50-cent Hot Dog Nights, on Tuesday July 31st. The Barons will also be giving away Drawstring Backpacks to the first 500 kids in attendance courtesy of Little Debbie Snack Foods. Wednesday is Bark in the Park night at Regions Park so bring your fury friends out for a fun night at the ballpark courtesy of Banfield Pet Hospital. Thirsty Thursday returns as the calendar turns to August, featuring 16 oz. beverages for $1.

The weekend kicks off Friday with an Adult T-Shirt giveaway courtesy of Charter Business to the first 1,000 adults. On Saturday fans will be treated to Pyro Palooza V, the season's biggest fireworks show presented by Trustway Insurance.

The home stand wraps up with Military Sunday, Back to Basics Monday and the second of two 50-cent Hot-Dog nights on Tuesday August 7th. Tuesday is also Football Kickoff Night while there will also be a post-game Plasma Dig presented by Bright House Networks.
